PsiQuantum is developing silicon-photonics quantum computers. This staff firmware role sits in the Firmware team within the Electronics organization and works on quantum control systems. The person would set firmware architecture, collaborate with hardware and systems teams on component choices and schematic reviews, define interfaces across firmware, hardware, and software, and mentor through design reviews. The posting asks for a bachelor's or master's in computer science or electrical engineering, ten or more years of hands-on firmware development, C/C++, Python, RTOS and Linux experience, TCP/IP and communications protocols, and hardware debugging.
