Qblox, which makes control and readout electronics for quantum computers, is hiring a senior mechanical engineer for its R&D team in Delft. The job covers mechanical development for electronic products and PCB assemblies: enclosures, heatsinks and RF shields, plus FEA, CFD, thermal and EMI analysis, prototyping, lab validation, documentation and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a mechanical engineering or mechatronics degree, at least five years in product development, and hands-on 3D CAD and simulation experience. Ownership of designs and collaboration with RF and system engineers are emphasised.
