Rigetti seeks a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead a team building software systems for quantum computers. The role covers software for device design, chip-fabrication workflows, physics-informed data analysis, quantum gate design, and mitigation and error correction, plus QPU and system characterization. It is hands-on: managing the team while supporting development work across software engineering, hardware and scientific computing. The posting does not list specific degree or experience requirements; its distinctive point is the combined leadership and technical scope across quantum hardware and software.
