PsiQuantum is hiring a senior engineer to build the optical packaging for its silicon-photonic quantum chips at its UK R&D site in Daresbury. The job covers fibre-to-chip alignment schemes, packaging prototypes and scalable assembly flows, reviewing bills of materials, sourcing parts with supply chain, and transferring designs to external vendors and partners. Candidates need a master's or above in optical engineering or physics, plus several years of PIC packaging, optical fibre measurement and fibre-array-to-chip attachment experience.
