QuEra Computing seeks a Senior Mechanical Technician for its Hardware Engineering group in Boston, onsite. The person will assemble, test and troubleshoot mechanical and fluid systems in neutral-atom quantum computers, including electronics racks, cooling manifolds and opto-mechanical modules; run a machine shop; write build procedures; inspect supplier parts; and occasionally train contract manufacturers. The posting asks for seven-plus years in precision hardware, comfort on a mill, fluid-system and leak-test experience, and physical lab work. Distinctive: senior, high-autonomy ownership of shop and repeatable builds.
