QuantumDiamonds, a TU Munich spin-off based in Munich, is hiring a full-time research software engineering intern for six months in its Pre-Development group. The intern merges several parallel measurement-protocol backends into one shared Python framework for the company's quantum diamond microscope, migrates existing protocols onto it, keeps the GitHub Actions pipeline running, and gives first-pass pull-request reviews. The posting asks for Python packaging, type hints and tests, routine Git and CI, ways to make hardware-dependent code testable, and daily use of AI coding agents; a mentor sets the architecture.
