Infleqtion seeks a full-time Quantum Software Engineer in Chicago, onsite, to apply quantum optimization and error-correction methods to energy grid problems. The person will write and test code for grid optimization, run and analyze circuits on quantum hardware, work with physicists and software engineers, and contribute to proposals and publications. The posting asks for a BS/MS in a relevant field, Python fluency, experience with QAOA, IQP, annealing, error correction, Cirq or Qiskit, and grid topics such as unit commitment. Three office days weekly and up to 10% travel are required.
