IQM is hiring a Quantum Hardware Engineer for its Espoo laboratories, on site and full time. The work is hands-on: installing devices in cryostats, running cooldowns and electrical measurements, setting up instrument racks, scripting automated data acquisition and analysis, diagnosing failures, and writing standard measurement procedures for fabrication and packaging teams. The person also contributes mechanical and electrical designs. Requirements include an MSc or PhD in physics or equivalent experience, cryostat work down to roughly 4 K, vacuum and low-temperature instrumentation knowledge, and precision DC or microwave measurement skills.
