IQM is hiring a Quantum Error Correction Experimentation Engineer for its QEC team, on-site in Espoo or Munich. The job is to implement, run and analyse QEC benchmark and demonstration experiments on superconducting processors, model error processes, help develop decoding protocols, and add features to the quantum computer control software stack. The posting asks for hands-on qubit and QPU calibration experience, Python engineering practice, and QEC theory including decoding and lattice surgery. A PhD is a plus; the work supports IQM's fault-tolerant roadmap.
