IQM is hiring a Quantum Engineer, junior through senior, for its Gates team in Espoo, Finland, or Munich, Germany — on-site. The work: developing single- and two-qubit gates on superconducting processors, writing calibration and characterisation routines, analysing gate fidelities and their physical limits, and coordinating with design, fabrication, software and theory teams, with an eye to full error correction. Qualifications scale from an M.Sc. to a Ph.D. or postdoctoral experience. Superconducting-qubit experiments and Python, ideally within a quantum control framework, are expected; seniors mentor.
