PsiQuantum is hiring a senior or staff quantum algorithms researcher for its Quantum Algorithms team in Applications Development. The work involves adapting and developing fault-tolerant quantum algorithms, identifying use cases in chemistry, pharmaceuticals and materials science, analysing asymptotic performance and resource needs, and collaborating with the compilation team. The posting seeks deep expertise in quantum simulation and a specific algorithms subfield, plus experience leading research programmes and external partnerships. Its distinctive focus is algorithms for fault-tolerant silicon-photonic systems rather than near-term devices.
