Infleqtion seeks a Lead Scientist for its quantum RF systems in Oxford, based at Kidlington. The role sets the scientific direction for a portfolio, including physics architecture, experimental strategy, performance models and risk management. It combines hands-on technical review with line management of a science team and works closely with engineers, project managers and customers. The posting requires a PhD in atomic, molecular and optical physics plus experience in Rydberg physics, Rydberg-atom electrometry, laser systems and complex instrument development. Up to two days of home working may be approved.
