Atom Computing seeks a principal software engineer to lead the software platform that coordinates its quantum computers. The person would set technical direction for workload coordination, hardware-control and calibration interfaces, and experimental-data management, and help shape next-generation architecture. The role is mainly backend, with some frontend work, using Python, Rust, and TypeScript/React, much of it running on Linux close to quantum hardware. It reports to the Software Engineering Manager and is based in Boulder, CO or Austin, TX.
