Atom Computing is hiring a Principal Optical Engineer to act as technical lead for optics on its neutral-atom quantum computers. The person will set optical engineering standards, carry out modeling and analysis, and work with physicists to design optical assemblies and modules for next-generation systems. The role reports to the VP of Optical Engineering and requires on-site work in Boulder, Colorado, four to five days a week. It is a senior hardware-design position focused on quantum-computer optics.
