A five-month-plus internship in Quandela's photonic integrated circuits department, which designs and produces the optical processors used in its quantum computers. The intern works on electromagnetic or circuit simulations of chip components with Lumerical FDTD, FDE or EME and open tools such as gdsfactory and tidy3d, either linking fabrication with design or assessing a new architecture for a quantum processing unit. Applicants must be enrolled in an MSc in physics, photonics, quantum technologies or similar, with Python, Git and data-analysis skills and English and French.
