Fixed-term, full-time paid internship (10–12 weeks) at Riverlane's US office in Massachusetts, paying $55.70 an hour. The intern joins a research project on the classical computing systems behind scalable quantum error correction: studying decoding and predecoding methods, modelling compute, memory, latency and power needs, and weighing software, FPGA and ASIC implementations. Applicants must be PhD students in computer science, engineering, physics, maths or similar, with research experience in QEC, computer architecture, decoding or digital hardware design, and US work authorization.
