IonQ is hiring a manufacturing engineer to own its control electronics subsystems as they move from prototype to production. The work combines hands-on assembly and testing of electromechanical prototypes and system bring-up with process design: assembly instructions, test procedures, process flows, DFM/DFA/DFT feedback to designers, and configuration management. Requirements include a bachelor's in electrical or manufacturing engineering, three years in electronics manufacturing, and experience with analog and RF hardware, PLM systems and hands-on builds. Onsite in College Park, Maryland, with up to 10% travel.
