Bluefors seeks a mechanical engineer for its Syracuse engineering team to support product development, manufacturing and quality. The job centers on engineering documentation—manuals, work instructions, bills of materials, models and drawings—plus CAD work in Autodesk Inventor, design projects, prototype testing, production evaluation and statistical quality analysis. It also requires regular time on the manufacturing floor as a link between Engineering and Production. Candidates need a mechanical or manufacturing engineering bachelor’s degree, CAD proficiency, drawing interpretation and preferably three years in manufacturing. Pay is $73,000–$110,000 annually.
