The role oversees assembly process development and subassembly builds for quantum-computer hardware, including silicon-photonics chips and electronics on PCBAs used in cryogenic and room-temperature vacuum systems. The manager works with packaging engineers, suppliers and operations on design for manufacturability, fixtures, process qualification and transfer to volume production, and handles budgets, capex and hiring.
