Junior PhD role in IQM's QEC Operations team, on-site in Munich, working on quantum error-correction protocols for superconducting quantum processors. The person implements and analyses experiments, develops calibration steps such as qubit reset and leakage reduction, and contributes Python features to control software. Requirements include a master's in a relevant field, quantum information and QEC knowledge, superconducting-qubit understanding, Python engineering skills and laboratory experience. The post is part of the QuBriC doctoral network, with research visits to Chalmers and INRA.
