The role covers on-premise bare-metal clusters, racks, switches and fabrics: provisioning servers, running Kubernetes, building networks with VLANs and routing, and automating builds with Ansible and infrastructure-as-code. The engineer also builds the cluster shipped with each quantum computer and supports accelerator hosts near dilution refrigerators.
