IQM is hiring an FPGA design engineer for its Scalable Electronics team in Espoo, Finland; the post is on-site and full-time. The work is writing VHDL IP blocks for high-speed data processing and communication between quantum computer subsystems and external interfaces, simulating and benchmarking them, integrating blocks into complete designs, and optimising throughput, latency and resource use under tight timing constraints. The posting asks for a BSc/MSc or equivalent, at least one year in a professional engineering environment, and solid VHDL and digital logic fundamentals; Quartus and lab-measurement experience are listed as nice to have.
