Riverlane's engineering internship is a 10–12 week, full-time research placement in Cambridge, Massachusetts, looking at the classical computing systems needed for scalable quantum error correction. Projects may cover decoding or predecoding methods, modelling the classical resources fault-tolerant programs consume, or distributing decoding workloads across a system, with an eye on software, FPGA and ASIC options. Applicants must be current students in at least their second bachelor's year or a master's, with quantum error correction, computer architecture, decoding or hardware design experience and Python, C or C++.
