Bluefors is hiring an on-site After cryocooler Technician for its Syracuse manufacturing team. The job involves assembling, fabricating and testing cryogenic products such as helium reliquifiers, liquid helium and nitrogen plants, and customer-specific systems; preparing cold heads and compressor packages for qualification tests; performing helium leak checks; and reading work orders, drawings and schematics. Candidates should have a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude and hand/power-tool experience; technical or manufacturing training and cryogenic assembly experience are preferred.
