The 2021 page states: “Launching the Quantum Project: NIS 1.2 billion, in collaboration with the Administration for the Development of Weapons and Technological Infrastructure, the Innovativeness Authority, the Ministry of Science and the Ministry of Finance.” It also states: “Pursuant to the recommendation of the NRI’s Investigative Committee, the program has been further expanded, and it now amounts to NIS 1.25 billion over the course of six years.” The 2022 page states: “The program was initiated by the PBC in 2018 and became a national program in 2020 with a total budget of NIS 1.25 billion for six years activity for the development of academic research, including the leveraging of human capital in this field, and the improvement of research infrastructures, as well as the encouragement of international cooperation in R&D, and encouraging development of relevant industries.” Since NIS 1.2 billion and NIS 1.25 billion are not equivalent under the register's rounding rule, neither amount is confirmed.
