Infleqtion seeks a staff thermal engineer for a space payload used in quantum-sensing operations. The role updates system-level thermal models, reviews cooling designs for electronic cards and enclosures, develops and tests EDU and flight thermal hardware for microgravity, installs MLI and bonded heaters/thermistors, and presents to customers and management. It asks for 6+ years, thermal design expertise, ASTM E595 material knowledge, opto-mechanics and tolerance analysis, plus hands-on EDU/flight build experience. Distinctive: customer-facing work on a quantum sensor payload and mentoring junior engineers.
