Q-CTRL seeks a Senior Scientist for its Magnetometry Novel Hardware team. The person will design, develop, test and characterise novel magnetometers and auxiliary hardware with an interdisciplinary quantum sensing and engineering group. Applications include aeronautical and maritime navigation, geophysical exploration, medical diagnostics and magnetic anomaly detection. The focus is moving laboratory sensor performance into extreme environments with vibrations and electromagnetic interference.
