QuEra is hiring a senior quantum algorithms scientist for its Boston office, working on-site and full-time. The role is original research: designing quantum algorithms with provable advantage, analysing complexity and resource tradeoffs, classifying primitives suited to neutral-atom hardware, and prototyping algorithms for QuEra's devices while collaborating with hardware, software and applications teams on co-design and benchmarking. QuEra asks for a PhD in computer science, physics, mathematics or similar, a strong publication record in quantum algorithms or information theory, and familiarity with amplitude amplification, phase estimation, Hamiltonian simulation and quantum arithmetic. Fault-tolerant resource estimation experience (e.g. Qualtran) is preferred.
