IonQ is hiring a senior process technician for its College Park packaging cleanroom, where quantum processing units and quick-turn hardware are built. The technician will run about seven to eight packaging processes—precision cleaning, epoxy assembly, die and wire bonding, reflow, plasma cleaning, inspection and test—on fragile components, record data and escalate deviations. The posting asks for roughly two years of precision-assembly or high-tech manufacturing experience, fine motor skill and cleanroom comfort. Training and qualification are provided; finalists complete an on-site bench evaluation.
