PsiQuantum is hiring a senior engineer to develop specialty optical fibre for the photonic quantum computer it is building. The work mixes simulation — FDTD or similar propagation and waveguide modelling — with hands-on experiments measuring modal properties, loss, dispersion and coupling, reconciling the two, and steering external fibre-development partners. Candidates need a PhD or equivalent experience plus a track record in fibre optics or guided-wave photonics.
