IonQ’s Capella space business is hiring a Senior Flight Software Engineer for its synthetic-aperture radar satellite constellation. The person will write and maintain flight code, integrate it with FPGA, electrical and ground-software work, lead reviews, write tests, and troubleshoot live on-orbit issues. The posting asks for 5+ years with hard real-time embedded systems, C/C++, embedded Linux, microcontrollers such as Xilinx Zynq, and lab equipment. It is distinctive for direct ownership of software running on satellites in orbit and for supporting IonQ’s quantum-secured space-network effort.
