IonQ seeks a director to lead its Resilience Engineering and Operations team in College Park, Maryland. The role oversees day-to-day support of hosted trapped-ion quantum computers, incident response, operational readiness, deployment and maintenance, plus planning for spares and schedules. It requires technical credibility with complex experimental, optical or physics-led systems and 8+ years leading scientists or engineers. The director also helps build a follow-the-sun model with European colleagues and some on-call work; quantum computing experience is not required.
