Infleqtion seeks a quantum error correction specialist to design and assess fault-tolerant architectures for neutral-atom quantum computers. The work covers error-correcting codes, decoding algorithms, fault-tolerant gates, noise modelling, syndrome extraction and logical performance metrics, in collaboration with experimental physicists, control and compiler teams. The posting asks for a PhD in theoretical physics, mathematics, computer science or related quantum information science, a strong publication record and scientific computing skill. Two years of postdoctoral or industry QEC experience is preferred. The role is full-time and on-site in Kidlington and Harwell.
