IQM is hiring a quantum engineer to lead fabrication process development for its next generation of quantum chips, on site in Espoo, Finland. The work is cleanroom R&D: designing and analysing hypothesis-driven experiments on new materials and process flows, assessing feasibility for future QPU architectures, and moving proven methods into production with design and calibration teams. It asks for five-plus years in micro- or nanofabrication, two of them in quantum or semiconductor R&D, and a master's degree. Mentoring process engineers and contributing to patents or publications feature too.
