Qblox builds quantum control stacks — FPGA-based pulse generators with C/C++ and Python software — and this role sits between its product team and the engineers building that stack. The Quantum Application Engineer writes user stories, maintains the product backlog, defines features, and supplies quantum computing expertise to hardware and software teams, while also testing software, hardware and UI/UX and writing tutorials for experiments. Qblox asks for a PhD in physics with quantum research, or a master's in computer science with compiler-infrastructure projects, plus Python and strong English.
