Atom Computing builds quantum computers using arrays of optically trapped neutral atoms. This principal software engineering role is to design and build high-performance control systems for quantum computing platforms. The person would work on embedded software, real-time systems, GPU/FPGA acceleration and hardware orchestration, producing deterministic, high-throughput control pipelines. The posting asks for hands-on deep systems work, hardware/software co-design and comfort at the intersection of physics, architecture and performance. It requires at least three days per week in the Boulder or Austin office for collaboration with theory, software and hardware teams.
