Atom Computing is hiring a principal engineer to improve how its physicists and engineers use AI day to day. The role sets best practices for AI-assisted engineering, builds shared tooling for adopting LLM-driven workflows, and influences product architecture so those workflows fit hardware, timing and reliability constraints. Target areas include experiment analysis, optics, PCB and FPGA design, and C++/Rust quantum control software. The posting asks for a principal-level engineer and states the role is on-site in Boulder, Colorado, at least three days a week.
