A six-month internship in Alice & Bob's quantum algorithms work, starting January 2027 and reporting to a Quantum Algorithm Scientist. The intern compares compact block-encoding techniques by their logical resource requirements, then works out how many physical cat qubits and how much runtime one chosen example would need on the company's cat-qubit architecture. The outcome is a concrete physical resource estimate for that use case. Applicants should be comfortable with quantum algorithms and resource estimation; the focus on cat qubits and early fault-tolerant budgets is what sets it apart.
