Infleqtion's Quantum Computing Product Group is hiring an opto-mechanical engineer to design precision subsystems for atom-based quantum hardware in Boulder, Colorado. The work covers component design for lasers, optics, vacuum-integrated parts, photodetectors and modulators, plus FEA on tolerance, thermal, stiffness and vibration behaviour, hands-on assembly and root-cause work alongside physicists and other engineers. A bachelor's in optical or mechanical engineering or physics, optical alignment lab experience and SolidWorks familiarity are required; Zemax is desirable. Salary is $130,000 to $155,000.
