QuEra Computing seeks a Laser Systems Specialist in Boston for an on-site, full-time role building and installing optical and laser subsystems used across its quantum machines. The work includes free-space optical assembly, PM fiber fusion splicing, packaging shipments to international sites, and installation on optical tables and rack enclosures. The posting asks for optics or photonics training, precise handling of fragile high-value components, independent work from drawings, and rigorous documentation. Distinctive: it combines small-batch prototype builds with live-laser installation and export-compliance coordination. Salary listed at $90,000–$140,000.
