PsiQuantum is hiring a full-time intern for its Australian quantum applications team. The intern will develop quantum algorithms for chemistry, drug design, materials science and fluid dynamics; optimize fault-tolerant subroutines; compile algorithms to logical gate sets; add architecture-aware optimizations; and estimate quantum resources. The posting asks for postgraduate study or five or more years’ experience in quantum algorithms, compilation or fault tolerance, plus Python and Git. Work may be remote within Australia or at the Brisbane office, and prior fault-tolerant algorithm or compilation work is preferred.
