A 10–12 week paid summer internship at Riverlane's Cambridge head office, working on the architecture of the company's quantum error correction decoder. The intern investigates architectural optimisations, explores design approaches, weighs space and time trade-offs, and learns FPGA development and QEC, with a dedicated supervisor. Applicants must be current students in computer science, electronic engineering, physics, maths or similar, proficient in Python with a grasp of low-level computer architecture; RTL experience and interest in quantum computing help. Right to work in the UK is required.
