Quandela, a photonic quantum computing company, is hiring an Export Control Officer to build and run its export control framework as it expands internationally. The job covers mapping exposure across products, technologies, partners and suppliers, classifying items, tracking sanctions and regulatory changes, coordinating licence filings with Legal and authorities, writing guides and running training and periodic checks. It requires 5+ years in export controls, including time in a government body or public administration, knowledge of U.S. EAR and EU rules, and fluency in English and French. The work sits close to the company's quantum hardware without building it.
