Riverlane
Riverlane builds quantum error-correction hardware and software, including real-time decoders and tools for quantum-computer developers.
In inglese
Riverlane was founded in 2016 by Steve Brierley, then a senior research fellow in computational mathematics at the University of Cambridge. The company says it was founded to build the error-correction stack for quantum computers. It develops Deltaflow, a real-time quantum error-correction system that includes proprietary QEC chips, decoders and a compiler, and Deltakit, a software platform for developing and adopting QEC. Riverlane works with quantum-computer hardware companies, laboratories and high-performance computing centres. On August 6, 2024, Riverlane announced a $75 million Series C. On September 11, 2026, it reported that Riverlane and Qblox had closed a full real-time QEC loop on physical hardware using emulated qubit measurement data, not live qubit output. The company develops technology to correct quantum errors in real time as quantum computers scale.
