QuantWare

QuantWare designs, fabricates and integrates superconducting quantum processors and processor-scaling technology.

In inglese

Founded in 2021 by Matt Rijlaarsdam and Alessandro Bruno as a spinout from QuTech at TU Delft, QuantWare is headquartered in Delft, Netherlands. It designs, fabricates and integrates superconducting quantum processors for the quantum-computing industry. In July 2021, the company announced the launch of a commercially available superconducting quantum processor. Its products include processors built on its VIO architecture, which uses vertical signal routing and connected chiplets to scale processor designs. In a release dated December 9, 2025, QuantWare announced VIO-40K, an architecture intended to support processors with 10,000 qubits, and said it was building KiloFab, an industrial-scale processor facility in Delft. The company said the first VIO-40K devices were expected to ship in 2028. On May 5, 2026, QuantWare announced a $178 million Series B. It is a privately held quantum-hardware company supplying processors and related services to the broader quantum-computing ecosystem.
