Qrypt

Qrypt develops encryption software and quantum-entropy services for securing data and generating cryptographic keys.

Qrypt says it was established by founders Kevin Chalker and Denis Mandich. LinkedIn lists its founding year as 2017; the company is based at One World Trade Center in New York City. Qrypt builds quantum-secure encryption products, including quantum entropy services and software for key generation. Its website describes cloud-based quantum entropy services and a Quantum Entropy Appliance. On August 27, 2018, Oak Ridge National Laboratory announced that Qrypt had licensed its quantum random number generator technology for use in Qrypt’s encryption platform. On March 12, 2024, Qrypt announced that its Quantum Entropy-as-a-Service became available through AWS Marketplace. Qrypt’s products address data encryption, cryptographic key generation and protection against quantum-computing threats.
